| Across the UK there are an ever growing number of communities that are either already Fairtrade Towns or at one stage or another along the road to becoming one.
Garstang in Lancashire was the first Fairtrade Town, Chester the first Fairtrade City and Haworth was the first Fairtrade Village. Below is a list of communities, in alphabetical order, that we are aware of that have achieved Fairtrade status, or are working towards Fairtrade statues.
